Douglas A. Taylor, Jr. is a seasoned real estate executive, current Broker in Charge and Chief Executive Officer for Safe Haven Homes LLC with more than 28 years of leadership experience spanning multifamily, single‑family, build‑to‑rent, and affordable housing. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University, equipping him with a strong foundation in market analysis, asset management, and operational strategy.
Throughout his career, Douglas has held senior leadership roles with some of the nation’s most respected institutional management companies—including Lincoln Military Housing, Pinnacle, and Invitation Homes—where he consistently delivered measurable results. He has scaled portfolios, raised occupancy from underperforming levels to 95%+, driven the leasing of thousands of homes annually, and implemented technology and process improvements that streamlined operations and elevated resident experiences.
In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Douglas is actively involved in ministry and community service. His faith informs his leadership style, inspiring a commitment to integrity, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.

Tabitha M. Taylor
Co-founder, Chief Financial Officer
Tabitha Taylor is an accomplished finance and operations leader and current Chief Financial Officer for Safe Haven Homes LLC with a strong background in accounting, business administration, and organizational management. She holds an Applied Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Everest College, graduating with honors, and has completed extensive coursework toward her Master’s degree in Business Administration.
With over 15 years of experience, Tabitha has served in key financial and operational roles across multiple industries, including property management, construction, and nonprofit organizations. As Co‑Founder and CFO of D&T Consultations, Inc., she oversaw comprehensive accounting functions for multiple companies—managing financial statements, budgets, taxes, payroll, and compliance—while ensuring operational efficiency and growth. Her prior roles as Assistant Controller, Accounting Assistant, and Payroll/HR Manager further showcase her expertise in full‑cycle accounting, regulatory reporting, and team leadership.
Tabitha is also deeply committed to community and ministry work, having served in various teaching and leadership roles within church and youth programs, where she developed and led initiatives to mentor and inspire young people.
Her blend of financial acumen, operational insight, and dedication to service makes her a trusted leader in both business and community ventures.
